The founders of Edesia Gourmet include Dr. Momoko Uno, a Doctor of Integrative Medicine, and Marilu Perez, a private chef. We combined our knowledge and experience to create Edesia Gourmet.
We want to share our love of food that is both delicious and nutritious. Just because you may suffer from swallowing challenges, it doesn’t mean you need to compromise the quality of food. Food brings joy to people’s lives. For people who suffer from dysphagia, it’s often challenging to find food that tastes good and doesn’t look like baby food or brown mush.
Here is our solution for you. A delivery service of gourmet pureed foods that tantalizes the taste buds and is also beautifully presented. We have a rotating menu of lunches and dinners delivered conveniently to your doorstep. We constantly update our menu depending on feedback from our valuable customers.
About The Owners
Dr. Momoko Uno is a Doctor of Integrative Medicine, Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner, Licensed Acupuncturist, and Board-Certified Chinese Herbalist with over 25 years of clinical experience.
She is the founder of Omni Wellness in New York City and has served as a clinical educator and department chair at Pacific College, helping advance the field of integrative healthcare.
Chef Marilu Perez is a 2009 graduate of the Institute of Culinary Education. She created Lula NYC, professional catering services in NYC, as a way of integrating the nutritional aspects of health through utilizing seasonal, organic, and local foods of the highest quality.
She is also a Fashion Institute of Technology graduate with over 15 years of experience in Design, Planning, and Product Lifecycle Management. Having worked for Liz Claiborne, Oshkosh B’gosh, and Tommy Hilfiger brands.
